The Orchard Country Club golf course has been rated one of Georgia's best. The course was designed by renowned golf architect Dan Maples, who was lauded for the way his creation naturally accommodates the magnificent rolling terrain of the site. Every hole offers a breathtaking vista of verdant greenery and dense woodlands changing colors with the seasons.

Playing to nearly 7,000 yards from the longest of the four tees, the course features bentgrass greens and Bermuda fairways that compliment the breathtaking mountain views. The course is enjoyably challenging for players of all skill levels.

Directions

Directions: From Atlanta, take I-85 north and merge with I-985 north. I-985 turns into highway 365/23/441 just north of Gainesville. Once through Gainesville, travel approximately 30-40 minutes,past exits to Demorest and Clarkesville, staying on the highway. Look for billboards on the left hand side of the highway, just past Hollywood. Turn left at the second billboard onto T. Smith Road. Then turn right at the dead end onto Historic Highway 441. Take an immediate left onto Orchard Road and travel approximately 1.5 miles to The Orchard entrance on your right.
