"We had a wonderful time. The location is outstanding. We truly had the beach to ourselves. We took the kids hiking around the beach and over to the inlet side where there were no waves and the little ones could swim. I don't think I could find a beach with a more secluded feel, but still with easy access to other family - oriented activities in St Augustine, Ft. Matanzas, or the outlet malls. The house was also very nice and spacious. We enjoyed the recreational tables and cooked all of our meals in the kitchen and ate at the big tables. If you want a few minor negatives, I don't have many. The master bedroom was a little cold at night. It's a long way from the Heat Pump units. We borrowed a blanket from one of the other rooms and that helped. If the home was full, we might have needed an extra blanket or two. My brother in law mentioned that the video game selections were more focused on the teen kids rather than the younger tykes. Thanks for the great weekend"

"We love Ponce Inlet and Florida in January is wonderful. We arrived with 7 people, five of those young adults and there was plenty of room for all of us. We especially appreciated the number of TVs for football watching! The sauna was easy to use and much fun at the end of the day. We actually liked the fact that the house is located eight miles down the road near the end of the inlet and so close to the Lighthouse. It made our stay feel very private. Cars on the beach were interesting and we liked having part of the beach with cars and part of it without cars right at our door. We biked and walked and even found a golf course not 20 minutes away at New Smyrna Beach. The restaurants were fun too. The house could not have been better for us, very clean and uncluttered. The balconies are wonderful for watching action on the beach or reading or star-gazing. We hope we can repeat this vacation again next year at this beautiful home."

"We had such a great vacation. The House was absolutely wonderful. There was enough space that everyone could be together without "being together". The community was great and there were lots of things to do. We didn't get to do them all. We hope to come back in the future. The kitchen was "awesome" it made me want to cook (I NEVER cook). The decor was beautiful and comfortable. My favorite part of the entire vacation was sitting on the balcony watching the amazing sunrises and sunsets while listening to the sound of the ocean. "A completely captivating location with the ocean on one side and the inlet on the other. Amazing views from every angle. We were able to view sunrises and sunsets every day. The beach was ours!! The house: light, bright, spacious, luxuriously furnished and appointed. Places to be together and places to be alone. We actually enjoyed dining in. The kitchen was great to work in with our rotating crew of chefs, and we could all be seated together for meals. We have a great team! Outdoor activities: swimming in the ocean or the pool, long beach walks and shelling, fishing, kayaking, kiteboarding, kite flying; you don't have to leave. Excursions: Painless history lesson in St. Augustine and shopping for those inclined or compelled. Leave your worries behind and bring your beach things. Make some fabulous memories."

"I can't say enough about the beautiful beach home in Ponce Inlet. The location was fabulous. You could practically walk to Ponce Inlet Lighthouse and Marine Science Center. Both made pleasant afternoon excursions for our family with local history, and closeness to nature. Great local restaurants on the inlet side next to the lighthouse as well. Even with all the big Orlando parks and Cape Canaveral Space Center so close we couldn't get ourselves or our children to leave the wonderful beach. The sand was white and soft and the ocean so relaxing to look out over. The kite surfers were fascinating to watch and the no drive section of the beach in front of the house made a perfect playground for our children without congestion. Then back to the beach house for an afternoon dip in the pool. My younger children thought it was just the perfect size for them! Lots of local flair and we walked the beach to the jetty several times to see what the fishermen were catching. Daytona Beach was a close 15 minute scenic drive up the beach. All the restaurants and entertainment anyone could ask for. Then back to the clean, new, upscale beach house, cooking on the Viking stove just like home! We all can't wait to come back for another unforgettable family vacation!"

There were a total of 14 of us and no-one ever got in anyone's way. The time we spent together at this house will be remembered forever. Our purpose was to spend time together as a family and celebrate two cousins who had just graduated high school and were going off to college. We could not have picked a better place to celebrate this joyous occasion. "We enjoyed our week-long stay at the Ocean Mansion....and indeed, it truly is a mansion with everything you need at your fingertips. Our younger daughter from Illinois, our older daughter with husband and 3 children from Ohio, and our son's-in-law mother, plus the two of us from Iowa had a wonderful time. The house is large enough to "get lost" if you want to be on your own for a little piece and quiet, but it has many great places to sit and visit with family. Although we did not do much sitting around, we enjoyed the indoor pool (needless to say the grandkids really enjoyed that) and the enclosed hot tub not to mention the beach. With several days of inclement weather, the indoor pool and enclosed hot tub saved the day. We hope to return another time with some of our friends."

"The home was exactly as described and then some. Very roomy, spacious and had everything you needed to run a regular household, although we spent most of our time directly on the gorgeous beach. The view alone was worth every moment in the house. Almost every morning between 9:30 and 10:00 we watched pairs of dolphins from the panoramic ocean view windows and we collected a vast array of sea shells as souvenirs. For those who like peace and quiet, there was no traffic and hardly any people. It was like we owned our own beach. I would recommend this home to anyone!"

"Hi, We enjoyed a very memorable week in June, 2003 at this home. You simply cannot believe the terrific value for your vacation dollar at this location! My wife and I enjoyed our 3 teenagers and each other with the solitude of the 'entire package'. We actually became well acquainted again and had a blast laughing at and with each other. The beach is outstanding and is as uncrowded as a Caribbean get-away. The home is beyond lovely. One can't put into words the 'ocean views'. Each day is another spectacular show. We were astounded at the amount of room and general cleanliness. It is uniquely laid out in that most of us could gather in the 'Florida Room', while the sleepy heads could enjoy their privacy and quiet by simply closing their individual glass sliding doors. The pool table was a big hit with our kids along with the Jauzzi and the light show it provides. I stopped counting all the TVs, VCRs, etc.! The Master Bedroom's bath has double showers. Every bed in the home is very comfortable. And closet space...we do not personally own enough clothing to fill all the space! The kitchen has everything one could ever desire. There is a very nice gas grill outside. From the beach the home looks like a motel! There are three outside water faucets in addition to the shower. The home is larger than it appears in the photos and the walkway/deck is a shorter distance than it appears to be to the beach. The air conditioning is more than adequate to easily cool the home. We had our doubts about the neighbors prior to signing the contract to stay. Again, no problems at all. On the left is a small 'well-kept' older motel. On the right is the home of a couple we never saw. The location is excellent and the landscaping is a show in and of itself. A few miles south is Ponce Inlet. There is a lovely park with lots of beach area. There must be over a mile of boardwalk through the area and to the sea. There are spacious changing facilities and many picnic tables. The entire area is built around a very old, but fully restored, lighthouse. There was a grand resort planned for the area long ago but Mother Nature had other plans. Check out the rich history. North, one can continue into Daytona... we found no reason to leave barring a meal or two and to show our kids where we once 'played'. Needless to say, they were so underwhelmed! For necessities, there are many shopping areas including a Wal-Mart. You simply drive North the way you probably came in, and turn left toward 95 (Dunlawton). One of the most impressive things I learned about the area is that it has a very low crime rate per a conversation with a County Beach Patrol Officer. The management has ‘customer satisfaction’ perfected… simply ask and it will be waiting for you! We’ll be back and make more wonderful memories!!! "Location, location, location - this home certainly hits the spot!!!! Directly on the beach so that we could watch the children playing whilst we had a leisurely breakfast each day really did make this holiday a break for us as well as the children. The home was well equipped for all 8 with clean good quality furnishings and Lee-Ann was most helpful and on the end of a phone is we needed her. Disney was an hour or so away, but the peace and beauty of the beach and sea were hard to leave. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday - we would certainly return so please dont tell too many people about this little spot of paradise otherwise it may get fully booked."

"The "Mansion on the Beach" is a beautiful home. Our family spent a week there and had a blessed vacation. Very nice place for a family to visit as it was quiet and peaceful, with a great beach. Our family gets together every summer for a beach retreat and this was the first time that everyone agreed that we would love to stay at the same place next summer. The house is amazing!! When we were packing to leave my 3 year son was heartbroke when I asked him to get his toys together so we could go home; his reply was "But Mommy, I want this to be our home". We are looking forward to our vacation next summer at the "Mansion on the Beach"."

"I just want to take a moment and you and rest of the gang at Daytona Beach Rentals know how much our family enjoyed our vacation at the beach house on 4115 Atlantic Drive. I don't think we had been there more than 20 minutes before both my wife and I were promising to each other that we would definitely be back ! At the end of our weeks stay we were even more convinced that we would become repeat customers. From the moment we drove up onto the red tile circle drive, beautifully landscaped with palm trees and white marble stones we could tell someone had taken great care to make our first impression of this property a good one. We were also very pleasantly surprised by all the room to relax and just hangout on the beach side patio, in the hot tub, on the wooden deck or even lounging right on the beach. The fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill provided a nice alternative to dinning out every night. Knowing that a washer/dryer came with the house made packing much easier, especially for the 2 teenage girls that came with us. My son brought his laptop PC which we all used with the homes High-Speed internet to read/write email, mostly bragging to our friends back in Michigan of what a great time we were having in sunny Florida. We also liked the fact that there was a color tv in every bedroom which allowed dad to watch all the football he wanted :) After all this was college bowl week ! We can't wait to return.
